Interesting fact about Easter

Easter is early this year. Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the 1st full moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20). This dating of Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people used to identify passover, which is why it moves around on our Roman calendar.

Based on the above information, Easter can actually be one day earlier (March 22) that is rare.

Here's the interesting information. This year is the earliest Easter any of us will ever see the rest of our lives! And only the most elderly of our population have ever seen it this early (95 years old or above). And none of us have ever, or will ever, see it a day earlier! Here's the facts:

1) The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be the year 2228 (220 years from now). The last time it was this early was 1913 (so if you're 95 or older, you are the only ones that were around for that!).

2) The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be in the year 2285 (277 years from now). The last time it was on March 22 was 1818. So, no one alive today has or will ever see it any earlier than this year.

This is an e-mail I received and I thought it was interesting. I hope everyone has a Happy Easter. I will post pictures later.

Happenings of the last few weeks

Happy St Patrick's Day
Today I watched Dahlen and Lance. For breakfast I made them a green smoothie. While I was putting it in the blender Dalhen said- That looks delicious. Even with all the handfuls of spinach going in the blender. Most kids wouldn't even touch it. I know it might not sound that good but it really is. I even took a before picture and after. (Thanks Natalie for the idea)
I helped Dahlen and Lance make little Leprechaun's. Then we made another smoothie when my kids came home from school. I usually make them green pancakes for breakfast. But I was so tired I didn't even get out of bed. So for dinner we had breakfast. green pancakes. ham and green eggs. they always think that is so fun. Side note- Last night Isaiah asked if pinching is allowed in our house tomorrow? He's so funny.

Lance and Dahlen enjoying their delicious healthy Green
smoothie. They each drank 3 glass fulls.

I know I have been a blog slacker but I just get so busy. A few weeks ago I went on a field trip with Savannah. We went to the rock and mineral show at the Union Station. The kids always have fun finding gems to buy. We had a lot of fun.

Then I went home for an hour ate lunch and went back to the school for Alexis' fifth grade maturation program . I swear they didn't tell us half the stuff when I was in fifth grade. No pictures with Alexis I'm pretty sure she didn't even want me there. But of course I went.

Savannah and her friends

Last Thursday I went on a Field Trip with Isaiah to Ogden Regional Hospital. They learned lots of things. Germs, Surgery, Broken bones, and how your heart works. It went by really fast and we had lots of fun. The kids each got a face mask, gloves, hair net and a certificate that they passed the course.

They had the kids jump up and really fast and them had them listen to each others hearts.

Pretending to be in a wheelchair and to walk with crutches.

Isaiah should wear this all the time since he is so obsessed with germs lately.

Pretending to give a shot.

Then on Friday I went swimming with my friend Julie and I took Dahlen and Lance. We went to the Clearfield Aquatic Center. They had so much fun. Jada didn't really like the water or the splashing. She fell asleep sitting up in my arms about the whole time. Isaiah wanted to skip school and come with us. But I'm mean and made him go to school. I guess well have to
go again.

Also I still have been cleaning out my garage almost every day. I sold most all of my big things on KSL. I wish I had a before picture of my garage. It was the biggest mess. I'm still working on it so if I don't post for a while you will know I'm busy cleaning. Sorry SARA that it is so much writing you can skip the words and just look at the pictures. jk

My friend Julie and her daughter Jade. Shes such a doll.
Sorry no pictures of me I wouldn't want to scare you.

I will be listing a ton more stuff later tonight. So if you or anyone you know needs anything.
