Today I watched Dahlen and Lance. For breakfast I made them a green smoothie. While I was putting it in the blender Dalhen said- That looks delicious. Even with all the handfuls of spinach going in the blender. Most kids wouldn't even touch it. I know it might not sound that good but it really is. I even took a before picture and after. (Thanks Natalie for the idea) I helped Dahlen and Lance make little Leprechaun's. Then we made another smoothie when my kids came home from school. I usually make them green pancakes for breakfast. But I was so tired I didn't even get out of bed. So for dinner we had breakfast. green pancakes. ham and green eggs. they always think that is so fun. Side note- Last night Isaiah asked if pinching is allowed in our house tomorrow? He's so funny.
Lance and Dahlen enjoying their delicious healthy Green
smoothie. They each drank 3 glass fulls.
I know I have been a blog slacker but I just get so busy. A few weeks ago I went on a field trip with Savannah. We went to the rock and mineral show at the Union Station. The kids always have fun finding gems to buy. We had a lot of fun.
Then I went home for an hour ate lunch and went back to the school for Alexis' fifth grade maturation program . I swear they didn't tell us half the stuff when I was in fifth grade. No pictures with Alexis I'm pretty sure she didn't even want me there. But of course I went.
Savannah and her friends
Last Thursday I went on a Field Trip with Isaiah to Ogden Regional Hospital. They learned lots of things. Germs, Surgery, Broken bones, and how your heart works. It went by really fast and we had lots of fun. The kids each got a face mask, gloves, hair net and a certificate that they passed the course.
They had the kids jump up and really fast and them had them listen to each others hearts.
Pretending to be in a wheelchair and to walk with crutches.
Isaiah should wear this all the time since he is so obsessed with germs lately.
Pretending to give a shot.
Then on Friday I went swimming with my friend Julie and I took Dahlen and Lance. We went to the Clearfield Aquatic Center. They had so much fun. Jada didn't really like the water or the splashing. She fell asleep sitting up in my arms about the whole time. Isaiah wanted to skip school and come with us. But I'm mean and made him go to school. I guess well have to go again.
Also I still have been cleaning out my garage almost every day. I sold most all of my big things on KSL. I wish I had a before picture of my garage. It was the biggest mess. I'm still working on it so if I don't post for a while you will know I'm busy cleaning. Sorry SARA that it is so much writing you can skip the words and just look at the pictures. jk
My friend Julie and her daughter Jade. Shes such a doll.
Sorry no pictures of me I wouldn't want to scare you.

Savannah looks so pretty in those pictures, I really like her in glasses and her hair is darling! Glad you posted! Oh, you will have to tell me what is in those shakes, it looked really good before the blend but I couldn't tell what all was in it. The "after didn't look as good, but if I knew what it was I would probably drink it! Can't wait to see you guys!
Mmm good ole spinach smoothies. I agree, you'll have to post what you put in them. I haven't had one in a long time. Looks like you've been busy, but having fun! Your kids are so cute. I can't believe how much Dahlen and Lance look like Buck...they're so sweet
You are such a cute mom with going to all of your kids school activities and taking Dahlen and Lance to the pool...And I want the green smoothie recipie too! You are so cute I wish we lived closer!
YEAH!!! I love seeing all the pictures. And what fun things you have been up to. I bet that Vitamixer has been the best. I ought to look into that. Seeing kids drink spinach - that would be a first at my house :)
Spinach shakes, my kids love those also. So, are you going to bo and buy more stuff with all the money that you made from selling all the stuff? I am just being a butt. Hey, we are not going to have the easter egg hunt on saturday. it is way too wet cause easter is so early this year so we are going to have a April Treasure Hunt. We figure it will be warmer, drier and funner.
My spinach shakes turn a brown-ish color and look pretty gross, but are delicious...Emma giggles when we're making them because she's so excited.
I love the Clearfield pool but haven't been since before the whole swimming scare thing...do they still do toddler time?
You have been busy! I would've never thought of putting spinach in a shake...I'll to try it sometime.
You are a busy lady! I totally forgot about the maturation program - that is too funny. So, judging by the picture I could probably guess what is in the shake but should probably get clarification. I may need to whip up a batch of those. Who knows, Ellie might get an actually vegetable that way!
