Flashback Friday 4 years ago

I love how he has little feet turned and his hands in his pockets

Isaiah 4 years old

I have not done a flashback for about two months now. So I guess its time.
I love these pictures of him and his blonde hair. His hair is getting darker each year. He is always so willing to help with anything I ask him. I love going on field trips with him because on the bus he sits by me and puts his head on my arm. The girls on the other hand sit with their friends and don't even acknowledge me. (maybe he is a mommas boy) Isaiah loves to play every sport and likes to tease his sisters sometimes. He loves to play with Jada. She gets so excited when she sees him. He can make her laugh uncontrollably. He is such a good little boy. Oh I love him so much.

April 1st Happy Birthday Spencer

Spencer- Do you have tickets?
Me - For what?
Spencer- The gun show
me- hahaha

Happy Birthday Spencer
I miss seeing you. I bet you love it though in the hot Phoenix sun, golfing every waking moment. I'm glad that you are almost done with the golf academy. I can't wait to see you.

Interesting fact about Easter

Easter is early this year. Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the 1st full moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20). This dating of Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people used to identify passover, which is why it moves around on our Roman calendar.

Based on the above information, Easter can actually be one day earlier (March 22) that is rare.

Here's the interesting information. This year is the earliest Easter any of us will ever see the rest of our lives! And only the most elderly of our population have ever seen it this early (95 years old or above). And none of us have ever, or will ever, see it a day earlier! Here's the facts:

1) The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be the year 2228 (220 years from now). The last time it was this early was 1913 (so if you're 95 or older, you are the only ones that were around for that!).

2) The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be in the year 2285 (277 years from now). The last time it was on March 22 was 1818. So, no one alive today has or will ever see it any earlier than this year.

This is an e-mail I received and I thought it was interesting. I hope everyone has a Happy Easter. I will post pictures later.

Happenings of the last few weeks

Happy St Patrick's Day
Today I watched Dahlen and Lance. For breakfast I made them a green smoothie. While I was putting it in the blender Dalhen said- That looks delicious. Even with all the handfuls of spinach going in the blender. Most kids wouldn't even touch it. I know it might not sound that good but it really is. I even took a before picture and after. (Thanks Natalie for the idea)
I helped Dahlen and Lance make little Leprechaun's. Then we made another smoothie when my kids came home from school. I usually make them green pancakes for breakfast. But I was so tired I didn't even get out of bed. So for dinner we had breakfast. green pancakes. ham and green eggs. they always think that is so fun. Side note- Last night Isaiah asked if pinching is allowed in our house tomorrow? He's so funny.

Lance and Dahlen enjoying their delicious healthy Green
smoothie. They each drank 3 glass fulls.

I know I have been a blog slacker but I just get so busy. A few weeks ago I went on a field trip with Savannah. We went to the rock and mineral show at the Union Station. The kids always have fun finding gems to buy. We had a lot of fun.

Then I went home for an hour ate lunch and went back to the school for Alexis' fifth grade maturation program . I swear they didn't tell us half the stuff when I was in fifth grade. No pictures with Alexis I'm pretty sure she didn't even want me there. But of course I went.

Savannah and her friends

Last Thursday I went on a Field Trip with Isaiah to Ogden Regional Hospital. They learned lots of things. Germs, Surgery, Broken bones, and how your heart works. It went by really fast and we had lots of fun. The kids each got a face mask, gloves, hair net and a certificate that they passed the course.

They had the kids jump up and really fast and them had them listen to each others hearts.

Pretending to be in a wheelchair and to walk with crutches.

Isaiah should wear this all the time since he is so obsessed with germs lately.

Pretending to give a shot.

Then on Friday I went swimming with my friend Julie and I took Dahlen and Lance. We went to the Clearfield Aquatic Center. They had so much fun. Jada didn't really like the water or the splashing. She fell asleep sitting up in my arms about the whole time. Isaiah wanted to skip school and come with us. But I'm mean and made him go to school. I guess well have to
go again.

Also I still have been cleaning out my garage almost every day. I sold most all of my big things on KSL. I wish I had a before picture of my garage. It was the biggest mess. I'm still working on it so if I don't post for a while you will know I'm busy cleaning. Sorry SARA that it is so much writing you can skip the words and just look at the pictures. jk

My friend Julie and her daughter Jade. Shes such a doll.
Sorry no pictures of me I wouldn't want to scare you.

One mans junk is a another mans treasure

Just to let you all know that I'm finally going through all my boxes. It's about time, I've lived here for 9 months. Plus it's been in storage for over a year. So I thought I would let you know about it first. Come over and get it before I take it to the DI.

One man's junk is a another man's treasure
A few of the things I have are -
over the door pantry rack, a box full of baskets, craft stuff, blow up rectangle swimming pool, mirror, tripod, stroller, car seat, tons of picture frames, coats, clothes, cake pans, puzzles, keyboards, utensil set, microwave, unfinished wood projects , and junk. I will be listing a ton more stuff later tonight. So if you or anyone you know needs anything.
PLEASE COME AND GET IT
. Leave a comment or call me if you want a certain thing. I had Alexis start taking pictures of everything but there was to much stuff. If you want a picture of it, let me know.

Trouble Trouble

A few weeks ago Jada started pulling herself up to
everything. She can get down by herself with the exception
of a few places (see below). Notice the one on the right she
looks just like her dad glued to the T.V. watching him play
a g
ame.

But if you notice the one on the left above and the two
below she gets herself up and then she can't get down

so she cries or screams until you come and get her. I guess
she doesn't want to fall.I know it
is a ton of pictures of her
doing the same thing but I couldn't decide so sorry. But
I guess the mom always likes all of them.

Her new favorite place is the kitchen floor. If my kids don't
have their jobs done (sweep floor) She eats everything off
the floor like a little dog. It is so disgusting. I tell her and
show her how to open her mouth and she clamps it closed
as tight as she can. I like the stage when they aren't mobile.
Because then you don't have to follow them around.

Past, Present, and Future

I was tagged by my cousin Natalie. I can remember things from awhile ago but not what I did yesterday:)

20 years ago I .
. .
1. Well first of all you're pretty old when you can say I remember things 20 years ago. I don't feel that old though.
2. Was in 7 th grade at Highland Middle School. I'm glad that is over, I would never want to do that over again.
3. Remember staying over at my Grandma & Grandpa's house and hanging out with my Uncle David & Aunt Sharon ( I would clean her room and iron all her clothes and wait for her to get home from her dates.)
10 years ago I . . .
1. just had my third child Savannah
2. was going CrAzY with 3 little kids- Danielle just barely turned 3 one week before I had Savannah and Alexis was 13 months old
3. Lived in Clinton and probably changing lots of diapers
5 years ago I...
1. Savannah started full day Kindergarten. Only Isaiah was home now. I thought that those crazy years would never end. They did and now in a few years I will have three teenager daughters. I am enjoying their ages right now.
2. went to Lake Powell on a houseboat for a week with my family (no kids)
3. Went to San Diego, sea world and Legoland with the kids.
1 year ago I . . .
1. was living with my mom and dad while we built our house. I never thought I would go back after 15 years and 4 kids and 1 on the way. I do miss seeing them everyday.
2. was driving lots to and from Farr West Elementary
3. was excited about having a another baby
So far this year I . . .
1. have slept a lot
2. enjoyed all the stages of Jada
3. have tried to put more boxes away
Yesterday I . . .
1. can't remember - oh yeah I watched my nephews Dahlen and Lance
2. ran errands with Chris
3. ate at Bajio
Tomorrow...
1. I need to take pictures of lots of things and put on KSL
2. go through more boxes
3. do another tag by my friend Kristy
In the next year I shall...
1. put more boxes away and throw lots of things away (in the boxes)
2. hopefully put a yard in so we can have grass to play on.

So I'm going to tag - Lori, Tausha, Beckey, Bianca, & Shelby & anyone else that wants to do it. Cut and paste this on your blogs and we can learn more about you :)
